Built-In AJAX Features - Web Development
SearchFit has built-in AJAX features that are usually custom-coded, including product filtering drill-downs, product comparison, and other fantastic features. Product Reviews
Get an outstanding product review system straight out of the box! Display a dynamic rating from one to five stars for each product. Product reviews is an AJAX-based system that launches dynamic panels to display reviews and comments. The use of AJAX in this situation gives the customer the ability to navigate through reviews and make comments without leaving the product page, which is a key part of a purchase funnel. Special icons and statuses are available to reviewers like "trusted reviewer" and "previous buyer". This adds more credibility to the reviews and encourages greater participation. Rules can be set for allowing reviews and comments with or without approval, blocking certain users, allowing users and other criteria. View a list of all reviews and comments. The panels are displayed with predefined HTML that is easily styled with CSS. Compare Products
Benefit from an easy-to-install "Compare Products" feature that encourages customers to buy, thanks to displays of information needed to make a purchase. A dynamic, AJAX-based "compare" checkbox is located on each product display. When a customer chooses to compare all checked products, a dynamic, AJAX panel is launched. The panel shows a row of all checked products including the image and most desirable product attributes. The panel is created with predefined HTML that is easily styled with CSS. The benefit of using AJAX for this feature is that customers do not leave product pages when they click "compare products”. Once they close the dynamic panel, it is straight forward on how to continue through the purchase funnel. Product Filters
Boost conversion rates with an easy to install dynamic menu system. Let customers quickly locate products that have the exact attributes they are seeking. Product Filters refer to a dynamic menu system that lists filter groups. A filter group is a set of filters, or possible values for a given product attribute. For example, a filter group could be named "Color" and child filters named "Red", "Green" and "Blue". Each filter has a corresponding check box. When a checkbox is checked, the page contents dynamically refresh and display only the products in the store that match the selected filter value(s). | ||
